Bomb threats evacuate hundreds from JCC’s across US and UK

Jewish community centers in US, UK receive bomb threats

Five Jewish community centers in the United States , as well as a number of Jewish schools in London, received bomb threats on Monday, according to local media reports. Among the states affected were Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Delaware and New Jersey. The community centers and schools were evacuated following the threats, allowing police to sweep the premises for explosive devices. No bombs were found at any of the sites. According to reports, the community centers received phone calls with a prerecorded message warning of a bomb planted on site. The voice in the recording was distorted.
