Obama oversteps

This week has demonstrated that when the president becomes really upset with someone or some country, his cool facade melts away and he morphs into a very unattractive figure, one that even members of his own party in Congress may be willing to oppose on key issues, at least when it comes to the Iran deal and policy toward Israel. In this case, Obama and his team have made specific threats regarding how the administration might behave toward Israel — a policy reassessment, withholding veto support at the U.N., pushing a Palestinian state at the Security Council. Perhaps later there will also be foreign aid deductions or sanctions (hey, you have to impose the sanctions on someone after lifting them from the U.S.’s new strategic partner, Iran). READ MORE
