When President Barack Obama was announced as the recipient of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, the decision was met with much controversy. Obama admitted that he was surprised by the choice….Six years later, Geir Lundestad, long-time director of the Nobel Institute and secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize committee, has commented publicly on the decision.
