Zionism is the belief that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination and sovereignty in their indigenous homeland.  Inherent to that belief is the fact that there is a Jewish people, and that the Jewish people are indigenous to the land of Israel … to ZIONThe history of Zion and of the Jewish people is a history of repeated persecution, oppression, colonial occupation and exile.
