Dear Jews:

Please don’t write that second paragraph. Not today. Yes, you know exactly the one I am talking about. The one that, after condemning the heinous violence against innocent Israeli civilians, starts with “at the same time, it’s important to see the violence that is happening in its broader context…” The one in which the words “Bibi” “failed” “policy” “West Bank” “Settlers” or “Occupation” will inevitably appear. It’s not that I think that paragraph should never be written — I do. And when we do have that conversation, my guess is that we will agree about way more than we disagree. READ MORE
