South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley gets honorable mention for hitting the right empathetic tone in her response to the State of the Union address. The standout of the week, however, was Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who in the sixth GOP presidential debate showed a fiery side, often displaying righteous anger at the president. From the starting gun, he was pumped up. He declared that “in 2008, we elected a president that didn’t want to fix America. He wants to change America. We elected a president that doesn’t believe in the Constitution. He undermines it. We elected a president that is weakening America on the global stage. We elected a president that doesn’t believe in the free enterprise system.” And he went on from there. READ MORE
