Kerry ‘raises concerns’ with Iran’s Zarif about missile tests

US Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday spoke to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and expressed concern over Iran’s testing of long-range missiles, the State Department said. Iran fired two long-range ballistic missiles on Wednesday, one of which was reportedly stamped with threats in Hebrew and Persian to annihilate Israel, as it continued military tests in defiance of US sanctions and fresh warnings from Washington. “The secretary did raise his concerns today with Foreign Minister [Mohammad Javad] Zarif,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said, according to Reuters. The conversation also came after the FBI said it had enlisted the help of Iran in searching for Robert Levinson, a Jewish former G-man who disappeared in the country nine years ago. READ MORE
