Democratic voters’ views on Israel now mirror the stance of their elected leaders. According to a recent Gallup poll, only 33% of Democrats view Israel favorably, a stunning drop from 63% just three years ago. Meanwhile, 45% view the Palestinian territories favorably. This inversion of moral judgment is not the result of careful analysis or principled foreign policy debate. It’s the result of ideological capture.
