A terrific Shabbat sermon about the Iran deal from Rabbi David Woznica of the Stephen Wise Temple in Los Angeles. I wish that more rabbis were reaching out to educate their congregations on this critically important subject.

Let us assume that the United States Congress rejects the Iran deal and the other parties to it accept it. They all want to trade with Iran and any sanctions no in place by these “allies” will lift sanction. Even with sanctions Iran has been able to continue their atomic bomb program. We are now living in a world where the following countries have Atomic bombs. North Korea, Pakistan, India, Russia, France, United States and Israel. So AIPAC what would you suggest,
,sign nothing and allow Iran to continue to work to produce a bomb which they will do with in a matter of time and see if we can now stop them with military action.? It seems like a no win situation. I should think that if Iran should try to eliminate Israel that Israel currently has the capacity to destroy every major city in Iran. It is this that has kept the U.S. and Russia at “peace” The current sanctions no matter how much increased will not prevent Iran from making a bomb.Hopefully the strength of Israel will prevent them or any other enemy from using one. What do you suggest?

Let5 us try something new. If the head(ex) of Mossad ,Shin BEt & others approve of the deal we have nothing to loose. We can always revert back to santions & heaven know we don”t want war. I am a proud Jew & I want to believe in Kerry’s attempts (plus 5 other nations) Lenore Miller
