Depending on the results of the Democratic primary, either Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering or former Congressman Brad Schneider will likely face incumbent Congressman Bob Dold in 2016. In recent days both potential challengers have made their positions known: Rotering supports the Iran Deal; former Congressman Schneider opposes it.
Congressman Dold has been highly critical of the JCPOA and invited Schneider last week to join him in opposing the flawed agreement.
