…No one disputed the accuracy of the [New York] Times’ dispatch, however, and the initial reporting was subsequently confirmed when the president essentially made the same argument in an interview with National Public Radio. When asked why polls have shown Obama’s approval rating on the issues of terrorism and the fight against ISIS taking a nosedive, the president blamed media coverage. “I think what’s fair is that post-Paris you had a saturation of news about the horrible attack there. And ISIL combines viciousness with very savvy media operations,” Obama said. “And as a consequence, if you’ve been watching television for the last month, all you have been seeing, all you have been hearing about is these guys with masks or black flags who are potentially coming to get you.” READ MORE

  1. This is the guy that said IS had been contained, and the next day the worst terrorist attack in many years occurred. Not sure how we can trust this guy.
