UK Justice Minister Delivers Powerful Anti-BDS Speech

After receiving The Algemeiner’s Warrior for Truth Award at the newspaper’s 3rd annual Jewish 100 Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City, Britain’s Secretary of State for Justice Michael Gove delivered a scathing denunciation of activists in the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. “They have the temerity to compare Israel with apartheid South Africa,” he stated. But even more offensive than that false equivalence, Gove said, is that the BDS movement “reintroduces into our world, into our society, a prejudice against the Jews collectively that should have vanished from the earth generations ago.
