StandWithUs Congratulates UIUC Students for Defeating Divestment Referendum

StandWithUs congratulates students at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) for defeating a discriminatory referendum calling for divestment from companies doing business with Israel. The proposal was rejected with 2,762 students voting yes and 3,627 voting no. Anti-Israel activists at UIUC cynically attempted to hide their true intentions by keeping the language of the referendum vague.
