Nurse claims she repeatedly raised concerns about antisemitism in NSW Health system and fears it will only get worse

A nurse has claimed she tried to expose allegations of rife antisemitism in the New South Wales Health system but was repeatedly shut down for speaking up. Midwife Sharon Stoliar told Sky News host Sharri Markson she first noticed it was an issue when Jewish nurses, midwives and pregnant women privately messaged her on social media about safety fears following Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. The following month nurses, midwives and healthcare workers held protests across the country shouting phrases such as “from the river to the sea” while wearing their NSW Health uniforms, which Ms Stoliar described as a “genocidal chant”.
