10th District Democratic hopefuls will square off in League of Women Voters forum

Former U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider and Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering, the Democratic candidates for U.S. House of Representatives in Illinois’ 10th District, will debate each other on Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Ave. The debate is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Highland Park/Highwood, Deerfield, Glenview/Glencoe and Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area. The debate will begin at 1:30 p.m. and candidates are expected to field questions from the audience. Schneider and Rotering face off in the March Democratic primary, with the winner facing incumbent 10th District Congressman Bob Dold, a Republican from Kenilworth, in the general election come November.
