Kirk Statement on More Proof that White House Made $400 Million Cash Ransom Payment to Iran

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) issued a statement today after the Wall Street Journal revealed the Administration refused to physically hand over $400 million in foreign cash that it had airlifted to Geneva, Switzerland, until Iran had allowed a Swiss plane carrying three American hostages to depart from Tehran.  The White House’s airlift of $400 million was part of a $1.7 billion ransom payment to Iran in January 2016.
