South Yemen would join Abraham Accords, says separatist leader Aidaros al-Zubaidi

An independent South Yemen would join the Abraham Accords and establish relations with Israel, senior anti-Houthi Yemeni official Aidaros al-Zubaidi said in an interview with UAE state media outlet The National. Zubaidi, who is president of the Southern Transitional Council, a South Yemen separatist movement, and deputy chairman of the anti-Houthi government, the Presidential Leadership Council, spoke to the outlet on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Wednesday.
