December 10, 2024

The Biden-Harris administration waived sanctions on Iran three days after the November election, providing Tehran access upward of $10 billion in once-frozen funds, according to a copy of the non-public order transmitted to Congress and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Secretary of State Antony Blinken determined on November 8 that “it is in the national security interest of the United States” to waive mandatory economic sanctions that bar Iraq from transferring upward of $10 billion to Iran in electricity import payments…In one case, the administration signed off on the sanctions relief one month after [the Iran-financed] Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel. After a historic football season at BYU, Jake Retzlaff’s latest honor places him in the company of Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali: having his face grace an iconic box of food…Retzlaff, 21, who grew up attending a Reform synagogue in Pomona, California, is BYU’s first Jewish starting quarterback and one of only three Jewish students at the Mormon flagship in Utah. His story has resonated with fans, Jewish and not, both because of his athletic prowess — he threw 20 touchdowns as he led BYU to a 10-2 record in the Big-12 Conference and a top-25 national ranking — and because of his public embrace of his Jewish identity. Retzlaff wears a Star of David necklace around campus and has taken on the nickname “BY-Jew.” READ MORE

Two California boys shot at Christian school in revenge for Gaza ‘genocide’
Michael Starr
December 6, 2024

Two kindergarten-age boys were shot at a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian school in California on Wednesday by a man with a lengthy criminal and mental health history claiming to be taking revenge of American involvement with a supposed Gaza “genocide” and attacks on Yemen, according to a Thursday Butte County Sherriff’s office briefing. Roman Mendez, 6, and Elias Wolford, 5, were in critical but stable condition following the attack on the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists in Palermo by gunman Glenn Litton.  The 56-year-old assailant, who was found at the school by first responders with a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound, had left a statement justifying the shooting as revenge for the ongoing Israeli military operation against Hamas in Gaza and operations to counter Ansar Allah’s maritime terrorism and missile attacks. “The man President-elect Donald Trump picked as the new border czar appeared in Chicago Monday night—and made a bold promise”

CBS NEWS
Tom Homan, President-elect Trump’s border czar, says deportation plan will start in Chicago
Elyssa Kaufman
December 11, 2024

“Chicago’s in trouble because your mayor sucks and your governor sucks,” said Homan. Homan’s opening line did not seem to open the door to collaboration. But minutes later, Homan Asked both Mayor Brandon Johnson and Gov. JB Pritzker to come to the table to help with the biggest deportation operation in U.S. history. “We’re going to start right here in Chicago, Illinois. If your Chicago mayor doesn’t want to help, he can step aside,” Homan told the crowd. “But if he impedes us—if he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien—I will prosecute him.” Homan vowed agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be in Chicago when President-elect Trump takes office. Cotton introduces bill to ban federal use of the term ‘West Bank’
December 5, 2024

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) introduced legislation on Thursday that would ban the federal government from using the term “West Bank” and instead use Judea and Samaria, the terminology preferred by Israel. Formally titled the “Retiring the Egregious Confusion Over the Genuine Name of Israel’s Zone of Influence by Necessitating Government-use of Judea and Samaria (RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria) Act,” the bill would prohibit government funds from being used to describe “the land annexed by Israel from Jordan during the 1967 Six-Day War” as the “West Bank,” except in international treaties and agreements. JNS Jonathan Tobin: Biden’s reading doesn’t matter, but a false Palestinian narrative does Biden stirred up controversy this past week when—only two days before he gave his son Hunter a blanket pardon for all offenses committed since 2014—he was photographed leaving a bookstore in Nantucket, Mass., with Hunter and other members of his family. Sharp-eyed observers zeroed in on the hardcover tucked under his arm: Rashid Khalidi’s 2020 book, The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance, 1917-2017.

Netanyahu praises Trump for aiming hostage demands at Hamas; repeats prewar reality in north won’t resume

December 3, 2024

At a special cabinet meeting in the northern coastal city of Nahariya, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanks US President-elect Donald Trump for writing on social media that “there will be all hell to pay” if hostages held by terrorists in Gaza aren’t released by his inauguration on January 20 “It is a very strong statement,” says Netanyahu at the opening of the meeting, “which makes it clear that there is one party responsible for this situation — and that is Hamas. Hamas must release the hostages.”Trump, continues Netanyahu, “put the emphasis in the right place — on Hamas, and not on the Israeli government, as is customary in some places.” READ MORE

FDD All Hell to Pay’: President-elect Trump issues strident demand to release hostages in Gaza Statement Follows Hamas’s Release of Propaganda Video: Trump’s message came after news that American lone soldier Capt. Omer Neutra was killed in Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack. It also followed Hamas’s release of a propaganda video on November 30 showing New Jersey native Edan Alexander pleading with Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to negotiate a deal with Hamas to save the hostages’ lives. Hamas still holds seven American hostages, three of whom are believed to still be alive.

Phillips: The malice of the world body against Israel has twisted the Western mind

Dismantle the United Nations
Melanie Phillips
November 27, 2024

…The United Nations has refused to renew the contract of Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the Kenyan special adviser on the prevention of genocide, because she has firmly maintained that Israel’s war with Hamas is not genocide. She gave the world body a lesson in what genocide actually is. That was most definitely not what it wanted to hear. The United Nations is consumed by efforts to delegitimize Israel for no other reason than wanting the Jewish state to disappear because so many member states want it to do so. To service this vast apparatus of demonization, it has employed legions of Israel-bashers and Jew-haters. READ MORE

Without A Reckoning, The First U.S. Terror Attack Caused By Open Borders Won’t Be The Last
Todd Bensman
December 2, 2024

Surprisingly little news coverage followed America’s first terror attack by an illegal border-crossing immigrant on U.S. soil. On Saturday, 22-year-old Mauritanian Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi was found dead of an apparent hanging suicide in his Cook County, Illinois jail cell. America must learn from this to prevent the next attacks on U.S. soil by border-infiltrating jihadists…On October 26, Abdallahi allegedly hunted down and shot in the back an identifiably Orthodox Jewish man walking to synagogue, then tried to up the body count by attacking responding police while shouting “Allahu Akbar!” Abdallahi still didn’t quit shooting even after police wounded him. The day intelligence collapsed: What happened to Shin Bet on Oct. 7?
Itay Ilnai
December 5, 2024

…In the wake of these revelations, we can now report for the first time that the investigations point to several key issues. For example, Hamas’ “Flood of Al-Aqsa” plan, which was well known within Shin Bet, did not receive proper attention. Additionally, agents working for Shin Bet in the strip communicated with their handlers during the night of Oct. 7 but either misled them or simply didn’t know about Hamas’ attack plans. Investigations also reveal that Shin Bet’s Southern District was unaware of the Nova Music Festival, which took place right along the Gaza border. Another interesting finding in the investigations concerns the timing of Hamas’ decision to launch the surprise attack. According to estimates, Yahya Sinwar and a small circle of associates made the fateful decision just in the days leading up to the attack. READ MORE
