Top Dem to White House: Anti-sanctions argument ‘non-starter’

The top Senate Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee said any effort by the Obama administration to convince lawmakers not to impose new sanctions on Iran is a “non-starter.” Sen. Bob Menendez, the outgoing Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman, says time has run out for negotiations to roll back Iran’s nuclear program.
