The hotshot senator from New York exactly five years ago was quoted in the Huffington Post as bragging: “You know, my name comes from the word shomer, guardian, watcher. My ancestors were guardians of the ghetto wall in Chortkov. And I believe Hashem actually gave me that name. One of my roles, very important in the United States senate, is to be a shomer — to be the shomer Yisrael. And I will continue to be that with every bone in my body.” Well, Senator Schumer, the bell has sounded for round one in your fight to protect Israel from the very believable promise of Iran to wipe the Jewish state off the map. And that very real threat was made even after the agreement composed, authorized and signed by President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry that gave the green light to Iran to achieve nuclear weaponry capability.
