The US State Department appears to have removed the Palestinian Authority – and “Palestine” – from the list of “Countries & Areas” in the Middle East. “It used to be Palestinian territories or the Palestinian Authority,” observed journalist Aaron Magid this weekend in a post on Twitter. “Now, Palestinians don’t exist.” The listing disappeared from the State Department’s “Under Secretary for Political Affairs Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs,” which leads US foreign policy in the Middle East and North Africa region, according to its website. Amazon UK has removed a number of sale items featuring a notorious photo of a massacre of Jews during the Holocaust, after being alerted to their availability. An investigation by Israel’s Channel 12 News found that “Holocaust victim” tank tops, t-shirts and hooded jumpers were available for purchase on the site…The items in question featured an infamous photograph known as “The Last Jew in Vinnitsa”. Taken sometime between 1941 and 1943, it shows a Jewish man kneeling at the edge of a pit which is already filled with the dead bodies of other Jews. READ MORE

I have experienced several bombs in my life and been saved, thank God, but this one got us,” Shnerb told reporters from his hospital bed…Shnerb spoke hours after his daughter was buried in their hometown of Lod. The Indians outfielder took advantage of his first free day in three weeks to rent a helicopter that would fly him to visit Camp Simcha in New York’s Catskill Mountains.
