History in Washington – A giant step toward sovereignty
February 21, 2025

The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference, considered one of the most prominent political events in American politics, opened in Washington on Wednesday night. At one of the conference sessions, a dramatic resolution was passed to support Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria…The CPAC resolution carries considerable weight with respect to American support for the extension of Israeli sovereignty to Judea and Samaria and grants legitimacy to this sovereignty among Trump supporters…Yesha Council Chair Israel Ganz, who has been working with senior CPAC members to help consolidate the resolution, welcomed this important step and thanked US leaders. “Your declaration is akin to the Balfour Declaration. You are granting political validity to biblical values and to justice.” READ MORE

Toameh: “Any deal that allows Hamas to remain in power would be disastrous for Israel, the Palestinians, and Arab states threatened by the Iran”

Why Trump Must Insist on Removing Hamas From Power
Khaled Abu Toameh
February 19, 2025

…No Arab country will agree to play any role in the administration of the Gaza Strip as long as Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups continue to maintain an armed presence there. The same applies to the PA, which was expelled from the Gaza Strip by Hamas in 2007. That year, Hamas staged a violent and brutal coup during which dozens of PA loyalists were killed…Similarly, Hamas’s longtime patrons and funders in Qatar will do their utmost to ensure that the terrorist group remains in power. Yishai Fleisher exposes Palestinian Authority
February 19, 2025

In today’s briefing, Yishai Fleisher, international spokesperson for the Jewish Community of Hebron, exposed the true nature of Palestinian Authority. While some believe that the PA can be a viable alternative to Hamas in Gaza, Yishai explained how the PA are in fact sponsors of terror, and must be viewed as the enemies of the Jewish State. He reviewed their record as a governing entity in Judea and Samaria and then discussed the extent to which Israel itself is challenged to achieve victory in this war. VIEW THE VIDEO INTERVIEW

Are US Jews finally getting a grip: “The signatories, especially the Jewish Democrats among them, have done their community a great act of service by insisting that being Jewish does not chain one to either party”

A Watershed Moment in American Jewish History
Seth Mandel
February 17, 2025

Jon Ossoff is Georgia’s first Jewish senator. And the Jews of the Peach State are doing something remarkable: refusing to be taken for granted. Though this drama is playing out behind the scenes, it represents a watershed in American Jewish politics. The New York Times has obtained a letter sent privately in December to Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, urging him to run for Senate against Ossoff. The twist: The signatories of the letter included prominent Jewish Democrats…What’s their beef with Ossoff? The senator’s vote to withhold U.S. weapons transfers to Israel seems to have been the trigger. This was made worse by watching Ossoff preen on the Senate floor in an eight-minute rekindling of ugly Hamas propaganda in support of withholding those weapons. READ MORE

Suffering Palestinians is the strategy against Israel

Arab unity is as real as a three-humped dromedary, but Arab leaders shouted out in outraged unison against U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for the U.S. to take over Gaza, relocate its people, and rebuild the Strip. Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit thundered that Trump’s plan would have a “damaging effect on peace and stability” and was “unacceptable for the Arab world.” Let me translate: “We loathe Jews and Israel’s existence and have never given up our sick Islamist fantasy of destroying the Jewish state.” The so-called Israeli-Palestinian conflict is just a strategy for the Arab goal of annihilating Israel; it is not the war itself. The Palestinians’ plight, as media cliche writers dub it, is the Arabs’ main weapon, so two million Palestinians relocated from Gaza would be a huge reduction in the Arab arsenal and a major victory for Israel. A 27-year-old Jewish plumber is accused of firing 17 times from a semiautomatic handgun at two vacationing Israeli tourists, whom he mistook for Palestinians, in Miami Beach at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mordechai Brafman told Miami Beach Police Department officers “spontaneously” in custody that “while he was driving his truck, he saw two Palestinians and shot and killed both,” per the incident report, which the police department shared with JNS. “The victims and the defendant do not know each other.” Contrary to what Brafman told the police, both victims survived, with one shot in the left shoulder and the other’s left forearm grazed, per the report. “Ms Stoliar fears the video that showed two south-west Sydney nurses threatening to harm Jewish patients this week is only the “tip of the iceberg””

Nurse claims she repeatedly raised concerns about antisemitism in NSW Health system and fears it will only get worse
David Wu
February 14, 2025

A nurse has claimed she tried to expose allegations of rife antisemitism in the New South Wales Health system but was repeatedly shut down for speaking up. Midwife Sharon Stoliar told Sky News host Sharri Markson she first noticed it was an issue when Jewish nurses, midwives and pregnant women privately messaged her on social media about safety fears following Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. The following month nurses, midwives and healthcare workers held protests across the country shouting phrases such as “from the river to the sea” while wearing their NSW Health uniforms, which Ms Stoliar described as a “genocidal chant”. Hamas confirms it will release three hostages on Saturday as Israel pushes for all remaining living captives to be freed

Israel expects Hamas to free three hostages Saturday, asks for more living captives

February 13, 2025

Israeli officials expect Hamas to deliver on Friday a list of three hostages to be released on Saturday, an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday. Qatari Prime Minister Al-Thani is expected to send the list to Mossad chief David Barnea. The release that is expected during the weekend follows Hamas’ threat earlier this week to withhold the hostages unless Israel fulfills its humanitarian obligations. Hamas claims that Israel has not allowed all the agreed-upon humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip as stipulated in the agreement. On Thursday, Hamas stated that Israel had agreed to allow pre-fabricated housing and heavy equipment for rubble removal into Gaza. However, Prime Minister’s spokesperson Omer Dostri dismissed these reports as “fake news” in a post on X. READ MORE

Supreme Court to hear case on Palestinian Authority’s ‘martyr’ payments
Marc Rod
February 10, 2025

The Supreme Court is set to hear a case in the coming months to decide whether American victims of Palestinian terror attacks can sue the Palestine Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority for damages based on support for such attacks through the “pay for slay” program that compensates individuals who have carried out attacks as well as their families. The Supreme Court cases — Fuld v. Palestine Liberation Organization and United States v. Palestine Liberation Organization, which the court will hear jointly — pertain to a decades-long series of litigation efforts by American terror victims and their families to sue the PLO and PA. In one case in 2015, a lower court awarded a group of victims more than $650 million. READ MORE
