Mamdani: “We have to make clear that when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it’s been laced by the IDF”

Mamdani says NYPD boots ‘on your neck’ were ‘laced by the IDF’ in vile video
Carl Campanile and Matt Troutman
October 28, 2025

Mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani once made a vile pronouncement tying the NYPD with the Israeli military, a shocking video that resurfaced Tuesday reveals…The comparison – which Mamdani made during a panel at the 2023 Democratic Socialists of America’s national convention, where he was the keynote speaker – drew white-hot criticism from many cops and Jewish New Yorkers, who called out the arguably antisemitic connotation. “Sometimes it’s hard to tell if Zohran hates Jews more than he hates cops or if he hates cops more than he hates Jews,” said Kalman Yeger, a fellow state assemblyman who represents the heavily Jewish 41st District in southern Brooklyn. CANARY MISSION How the DSA is planning to destroy the Democratic Party Leaked video reveals Mamdani and the DSA’s real agenda: “We hate the Democratic Party” “We need to orient ourselves toward insurrection” They’ve captured the party, they’re seizing NYC, and now have their sights on destroying America.

GOTHAMIST Voter turnout surges in NYC mayor’s race, with Boomers and Gen X leading the charge Turnout was way up in the first two days of early voting over the weekend, with voters over 55 making up a majority of overall voters. Data showed 164,190 voters cast ballots Saturday and Sunday. That’s five times higher than the first weekend of early voting four years ago, when Eric Adams, then the Democratic nominee, was heavily favored to become mayor.

MICHAEL OREN An Open Letter to the Jews of New York Yes, the candidate is young, charismatic, and brimming with new ideas. So, too, are many of the Jew-hating influencers followed by millions. There can be no obscuring the fact that the  candidate wants to see my state, my family, and the home of the world’s largest Jewish community erased from the map. And clearly the candidate would not care if that erasure were accomplished with violence.

JEWISH INSIDER After Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove endorses Cuomo, leaders debate if he opened Pandora’s box or if circumstances demanded it The Park Avenue Synagogue rabbi says that while he normally abstains from politics, he ‘felt compelled to enter new territory’ given the threat posed by Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani

“Frames that divide the world into the oppressors and the oppressed create 15 times more antisemites while reinforcing sectarian division and hate on both the left and the right.”

TABLET MAG
The ADL’s Medicine Is Causing the Disease
Joel Finkelstein
October 26, 2025

…What was once a movement to fight antisemitism has evolved into an educational framework built on the language of DEI. Its central lesson is not moral conviction but self-classification within hierarchies of power. In two national studies, participants exposed to the ADL’s anti-oppression messaging grew more defensive and in fact expressed more antisemitism than they had prior to being “educated.” Those results mark more than the failure of one organization. They signal the exhaustion of an era. The frameworks that claimed to cure bias are now being proven by data to deepen it. If we want to rebuild moral coherence, we need a new paradigm rooted not in grievance but in shared human values, the same ideals that helped shape the American experiment and long sustained Jewish moral life in this country. FUTURE OF JEWISH For some reason, ‘the Jews’ make societies go mad Every so often, societies lose their grip on reality. They begin to prize moral theater over moral truth, emotion over evidence, identity over integrity. It happened during the witch trials, when mass hysteria passed for righteousness. It happened during the French Revolution, when “virtue” became a justification for violence. It happened in McCarthyism, when suspicion replaced reason. And it is happening again today, in the moral frenzy surrounding Israel and the Palestinians. What we are witnessing is not just political bias or ignorance; it is “an incurable disease in the public mind.”

“If wokeness really is the result of the Great Feminization, then the eruption of insanity in 2020 was just a small taste of what the future holds”

COMPACT
The Great Feminization
Helen Andrews
October 16, 2025

…This cancellation was feminine, the essay argued, because all cancellations are feminine. Cancel culture is simply what women do whenever there are enough of them in a given organization or field. That is the Great Feminization thesis, which the same author later elaborated upon at book length: Everything you think of as “wokeness” is simply an epiphenomenon of demographic feminization. The explanatory power of this simple thesis was incredible. It really did unlock the secrets of the era we are living in. Wokeness is not a new ideology, an outgrowth of Marxism, or a result of post-Obama disillusionment. It is simply feminine patterns of behavior applied to institutions where women were few in number until recently. How did I not see it before? READ MORE

“The idea that the Jews are society’s scapegoat is a common one. The concept holds that, when in crisis, societies tend to blame the Jews for their problems—from economic discontent to military defeat—leading to horrendous acts of violence”

NO DELUSIONS, NO DESPAIR
Scapegoats: Antisemitism is an act of toxic, narcissistic projection.
Benjamin Kerstein

The writer James Kirchick recently published a comprehensive takedown of the execrable right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson in National Review…Kirchick’s demolition of Carlson is far better than anything I could write, so I will not contend with Carlson here. One passage, however, particularly struck me: Eight decades after the end of World War II, the fading memory of the Holocaust, the rise of identitarian thinking, and the ideological corruption of American higher education have contributed to making our country a place where growing numbers of citizens find it reasonable to blame humanity’s perennial scapegoat, the Jews, for what ails society. Tucker Carlson’s enduring popularity indicates that the cancer on civilization that is antisemitism metastasizes apace. READ MORE

JNS ‘Don’t think Fuentes is going away,’ Tucker Carlson says, hosting Jew-hater on his show During the program, Fuentes attacked Jews, Israel and Zionism. Carlson called his guest “enormously talented” and “more talented than I am.” When Fuentes said that his mission is to represent an America First approach to the Conservative movement, Carlson asked what “important gatekeepers” stood in the way. “It was the Zionist Jews, like Dave Rubin, like Ben Shapiro, like Dennis Prager,” Fuentes said. He claimed those Jewish men control “the media apparatus.”

JTA Heritage Foundation president stands by Tucker Carlson after host platforms antisemitism The president of the Heritage Foundation, the leading conservative think tank, defended right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson and said the group would not cut ties with him days after Carlson hosted an interview with antisemitic influencer Nick Fuentes. Kevin Roberts also said in a video on the social network X that Christians should reject calls not to criticize Israel, which he said were coming from a “venomous coalition” of “bad actors,” and that conservatives should further refrain from “canceling” Fuentes.

“Elected Democrats will receive copies of the report after its Monday publication, followed by events to promote it in DC and New York”

SEMAFOR
Left-wing ideas have wrecked Democrats’ brand, new report warns
David Weigel
October 27, 2025

Democrats have badly weakened their party with left-leaning ideas and rhetoric, growing only with self-described “white liberals” while losing ground with other voters, according to a new center-left group’s report Deciding to Win shared first with Semafor. The group, called Welcome, consulted hundreds of thousands of voters over six months for its broad findings, including that 70% of voters think the Democratic Party is “out of touch.” Most voters, the group found, believe the party over-prioritizes issues like “protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans,” and “fighting climate change” while not caring about “securing the border” or “lowering the rate of crime.” (Welcome began as a PAC in 2022, then founded a nonprofit with the same name for political research.) “Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that moves toward annexing West Bank could endanger Trump’s plan to end the Gaza war”

Netanyahu: West Bank annexation bill a ‘provocation’ to sow discord between Israel, US
Reuters
October 23, 2025

The recent Knesset vote on West Bank annexation was a “deliberate political provocation by the opposition” meant to incite conflict during US Vice President JD Vance’s visit, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement on Thursday. The clarification came following Vance’s statement that US President Donald Trump would oppose Israeli annexation of the West Bank, and it would not happen, suggesting a move by Israeli lawmakers to that end looked like a stupid “political stunt”. A bill applying Israeli law to the West Bank, a move tantamount to annexation of the territory Israel captured in the 1967 Six-Day War, won preliminary approval from Israeli lawmakers on Wednesday. ARUTZ SHEVA Trump on sovereignty: Don’t worry, Israel’s not going to do anything US President Donald Trump was asked by a reporter on Thursday about the sovereignty bill that was passed in the Knesset a day earlier. “Don’t worry about the West Bank. Israel’s not going to do anything with the West Bank, okay? Don’t worry about it. Is that your question? They’re not going to do anything with the West Bank,” he replied.

“The role of Turkey and Qatar — two leading Hamas sponsors — in postwar Gaza has added to the sense of anxiety about the sustainability of the deal for Israelis”

NATIONAL REVIEW
Hamas Is Already Violating the Peace Deal
The Editors
October 22, 2025

…The terrorist group has shown no willingness to disarm. Its fighters have moved swiftly to reestablish control over the nearly half of Gaza where there is no longer an Israeli presence. Hamas terrorists have been killing off members of rival clans, taking their weapons, and executing anybody accused of having collaborated with Israel, along with their families. A Hamas spokesman declared, “We do not need to limit ourselves to the Israeli terms and definitions related to weapons,” raising fears that that the terrorist group views the cease-fire as a mere hudna — or temporary pause in fighting — that will allow it to regroup and regain strength for a longer war against Israel.  READ MORE

GATESTONE We Are Not Fooled by You, Hamas On October 13, 2025, at Israel’s Knesset (Parliament) in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the company of US President Donald J. Trump, declared the war in Gaza over. Oh, really? Sadly, the probability of an enduring peace with Hamas or allied Islamists appears close to zero. After all, in Netanyahu’s words, Israel is dealing with “monsters.” Mosab Hassan Yousef, the eldest son of Hamas founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, revealed the rationale behind the horrendous events in Israel on October 7, 2023: “Hamas is not just at war with Israel. It is at war with Jews, Christians and the very foundations of civilization itself.”

JPOST Al Jazeera’s Gaza coverage directed by Hamas, Israeli research center finds Documents uncovered in Gaza have revealed that Hamas has been issuing instructions to the Qatari state-run media outlet Al Jazeera and is stomping out any signs of insurgency among the enclave’s population, according to the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center.

“The EU is Israel’s largest trading partner, accounting for 32% of the economy: which means cutting Israel’s EU trade would be absolutely destructive to country’s economic survival”

EU unlikely to push sanctions on Israel after Trump peace deal
Gabriel Gavin and Nicholas Vinocur
October 17, 2025

An EU plan to sanction Israel’s government ministers and cut back on trade ties has been put on ice as a leading group of member countries believes it’s no longer necessary in light of the U.S.-brokered peace agreement to end the war in Gaza. The original push is now unlikely to find sufficient support at meetings of foreign ministers and EU leaders this month, according to four European diplomats, granted anonymity to speak to POLITICO about the closed-door talks. An agreement among all 27 capitals would be needed to impose the penalties, and despite growing pressure on the EU to act, the deal announced by U.S. President Donald Trump has divided national governments on the way forward. A ban on Maccabi Tel Aviv football fans would confirm how deeply embedded anti-Israel prejudice is in Britain

THE TIMES
We can’t let this bigotry become the norm
Melanie Phillips
October 20, 2025

Away fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv football club were banned last week from their team’s match against Aston Villa in November because the police decided their attendance would present a risk to public safety. By a remarkable coincidence, on Sunday fans rioted so violently in Tel Aviv during Maccabi’s match against Hapoel that the game was cancelled. The Birmingham ban on the Maccabi fans provoked outrage as an act of antisemitism…Like those hate marches, the Maccabi ban is part of the same strategy of demonising Israel as the most evil country in the world, and driving Israelis out of public life by misrepresenting their war of defence against genocidal attack as itself a “genocide”. One particularly troubling aspect is that Ayoub Khan MP and other MPs supporting the ban are injecting sectarian Islamic politics and incitement against Israel into the heart of British democracy. THE ATHLETIC Maccabi Tel Aviv to decline Aston Villa ticket allocation after fan ban Maccabi Tel Aviv will decline any ticket allocation for their Europa League tie against Aston Villa after supporters were banned from attending due to safety concerns. The Athletic revealed on Thursday that West Midlands Police (WMP) had requested supporters of the Israeli football club be prevented from buying tickets to November’s match at Villa Park. Villa later confirmed this would be the case, citing “a number of physical and safety factors”.

“Jews in the United States must jettison the fantasy that they are exceptions to history and that “it can’t happen here””

JNS
Jewish self-defense is the only way
Benjamin Kerstein
October 20, 2025

…In the past two years, the Diaspora has become another front in the ongoing war against Israel. Jews have been subjected to a campaign of terror that has included hate marches, defamatory rhetoric, constant blood libels, intimidation, harassment, violence and outright murder. As a result, many Diaspora Jews, especially in Europe, are wondering how long they have. Some American Jews, for the first time in generations, are asking themselves the same question. They have long told themselves, “It can’t happen here.” But it did happen here. Powerful forces in American society—polluted by the antisemitic Red-Green alliance between radical progressives and radical Muslims—rose up against American Jews in a campaign to marginalize, disempower and ghettoize them. At the moment, this demented movement appears to be reeling from Hamas’s defeat. After all, they did everything in their power to save the terror organization and, in the end, failed miserably.
