At least four Palestinians were killed and at least 20 others were wounded amid armed clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces in the Jenin refugee camp on Tuesday evening, according to Palestinian reports. Amid the clashes, an Israeli “Maoz” suicide drone was used against terrorists who were attacking Israeli forces in the camp, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed. The home surrounded by Israeli forces reportedly belonged to Muhammad Abu al-Baha, a leader in the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Jenin. Palestinian media reported that shoulder-fired missiles were launched by Israeli forces toward the house, sparking a fire. READ MORE
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas attacked Israel and sought to rewrite its history during his remarks on Sept. 21 at the U.N. General Assembly in New York City. “The Israeli racist right-wing government continues its attacks on our people, and through its army and its racist terrorist settlers continues to intimidate and kill our people, destroy homes and property, steal our money and resources, and detain the bodies of the martyrs,” he said. Abbas further claimed that Israeli ministers have “even been bragging about their apartheid policies on our people under occupation. The Palestinian people are remaining on their land, which they have inhabited for thousands of years, generation after generation,” he said. “They cannot leave their land, and if anyone must leave it must be the occupiers and usurpers.” READ MORE

The University of Pennsylvania is slated to host a Palestinian literature festival this week that will feature speakers who have praised terrorism against Israel and maintain links to designated terror groups, such as Hamas. The Ivy League school located in downtown Philadelphia will play host this year to the Palestine Writes Literature Festival, a three-day event that purports to “explore the richness and diversity of Palestinian culture.” But the event’s featured speakers have ties to Palestinian terror organizations, routinely endorse violence against Israel, and malign the Jewish state’s supporters as “scum” and “filth.” Some of the speakers include anti-Israel Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters, former Palestinian political prisoner Wisam Rafeedie who writes favorably about terror attacks on Israel, and Salman Abu Sitta, who sits on the advisory board of an Israeli-designated terror group. Qatar has delivered a significant blow to Hamas, informing the Palestinian organization that it will not be renewing its monthly aid package of $30 million. Palestinian sources in Gaza and Egypt told the Tazpit Press Service that the decision, reportedly driven by anger at Hamas’ recent overtures to Syria and its increasing involvement in violent escalations in the Gaza Strip, threatens to exacerbate the already dire humanitarian situation in the region.,,Qatar’s frustration with Hamas deepened last October, when Syrian leader Bashar Assad hosted a Hamas delegation in Damascus for the first time in a decade. This move ran contrary to Qatar’s interests in promoting Hamas’s engagement in “moderate political Islam” and the formation of a Muslim Brotherhood-led state in Gaza. READ MORE
…Jericho is considered the world’s oldest city, and is most famous from the Bible as the first city that Joshua conquered when the Israelites entered the land of Canaan after 40 years in the desert. Today, the ancient site of Jericho contains ruins of synagogues that are thousands of years old, where mosaics inscribed with Hebrew writings have been discovered. This is unequivocal archaeological evidence of the historical Jewish presence in the ancient city. The push to name Jericho as a “Palestinian heritage site” is just part of the larger Palestinian objective of rewriting the evidence-based historical record in the Holy Land, and replacing it with a fictitious narrative designed to sever any Jewish connection to the Land of Israel.READ MORE
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kicked off a US trip in California to talk to billionaire businessman Elon Musk about antisemitism on his social media platform X – while Musk asked him to address his judicial overhaul in Israel. The two also discussed artificial intelligence in a sparsely attended livestream event Monday. Netanyahu’s high-profile visit to the San Francisco Bay Area comes at a time when Musk is facing accusations of tolerating antisemitic messages on his social media platform, while Netanyahu is confronting political opposition at home and abroad. Protesters gathered early Monday outside the Fremont, California, factory where Tesla makes its cars. The official agenda was to consider artificial intelligence, with Netanyahu and the Tesla CEO mostly in agreement on the need to weigh the technology’s benefits against its societal risks. READ MORE

The evening of September 15, 2023 will launch Jewish New Year of 5784. Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the Jewish New Year is celebrated on the 6th day of Creation, when the first human-being, Adam, was created. Adam is the Hebrew word for a human-being (אדמ), which is the root of the Hebrew word for “soil” (אדמה) – a metaphor for humility. The Hebrew word for Adam is, also, an acronym of Abraham, David and Moses, who were role model of humility. The Hebrew word Rosh (ראש) means first/head/beginning and Hashanah (השנה) means the year. Rosh (ראש) constitutes the root of the Hebrew word for Genesis (בראשית), which is the first word in the Book of Genesis. Rosh Hashanah is celebrated on the first day of the Jewish month of Tishrei – “the month of the Strong Ones” (Book of Kings A, 8:2) – when the three Jewish Patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and the Prophet Samuel were born.READ MORE
