“Israel’s two most formidable adversaries have both come up short in their quests for regional domination, and Israel is reaping the rewards of their losses”

The massive – but reversible – defeats of Iran and Turkey
by Caroline Glick

Two weeks ago, Netanyahu held a previously unannounced meeting in Uganda with Sudanese President Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan. Instant commentaries presented the meeting as a salutary side product of the Trump plan. But the truth is much more significant. The sight of the two leaders sitting next to one another smiling made heads explode from Tehran to Ramallah. The Netanyahu-Burhan meeting was no mere byproduct of a peace plan. It was a long-planned and hoped-for result of a set of policies, that aided by good fortune felled a cataclysmic blow against Iran and its terrorist proxies in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. “Syrian journalist refutes claim that Israel thwarts democracy in Arab countries, praises the Jewish people”

ARUTZ SHEVA + MEMRI
Syrian journalist: Jews ‘make miracles out of the impossible’
by Elad Benari
February 20, 2020

The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera network recently hosted a debate about Israel and the Arab countries. Syrian journalist Thaer Al-Nashef, who took part in the debate, said that the claim that Israel is thwarting democracy in the Arab countries is completely unfounded, arguing that all of the dictatorial and authoritarian Arab rulers had been a product of their own Arab societies. Al-Nashef mocked the conspiracy theories that Israel grooms Arab citizens to become leaders of their countries, and said that Israel is not responsible for the progress or backwardness of Arab societies. Rather, he said that Arabs are responsible for their own development and that they might learn something from the Jews and their ability to “make miracles out of the impossible.” READ MORE

“In an effort to discredit AIPAC, its opponents and competition have begun falsely accusing AIPAC of practicing the politics of hate, immoral tactics and producing harmful effects all around the world”

The Lies Told about AIPAC
by Uri Pilichowski
February 19, 2020

“We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road. They get run over.” The well known words of American writer Ambrose Bierce seem to echo in the ears of AIPAC members like myself as we defend the organization we believe in and love. While the American political world moves to its extremes, AIPAC plays the bipartisan middle ground to ensure a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. Stuck in the middle, AIPAC gets run over by the left and the right…I’ve been reviewing op-eds and social media posts that have been disparaging AIPAC recently and found they accuse the organization of being Islamophobic and inciting hatred against Palestinians. There has never been anything AIPAC has ever done or said that is anti-Islam. READ MORE

HAARETZ AIPAC Confab’s Double Whammy: Israel’s Election and Super Tuesday Israeli politicians and Democratic presidential candidates will likely be no-shows at the pro-Israel lobby’s big policy conference, slated to begin March 1

JERUSALEM POST A strange place for AIPAC: The left of a peace plan The Kushner plan puts AIPAC in an odd place: For the first time in its history, the largest Israel lobby in the U.S. finds itself to the left of a Middle East peace plan. AIPAC has sustained its backing for a two-state solution, while the Trump administration and the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have retreated from it.

by Abigail Klein Leichman
January 28, 2020

Jerusalem-based Argaman is nearing commercialization of a reusable, washable, breathable antiviral facemask called Bio-Block. According to founder and CEO Jeff Gabbay, a textile engineer with a background in pathology and infectious diseases, Bio-Block is a layered mask. It’s made from a proprietary cotton embedded with accelerated copper oxide particles, and a nanofiber textile that blocks pathogens. “The pores of the nanofiber pad are so small that bacteria cannot go through it — nor a droplet that contains a live virus –and our EPA-approved 100% CottonX fibers destroy the pathogens that come in contact with it,” Gabbay says. READ MORE
