Being a “Diversity Officer” means never having to like Jews

Overwhelming Number of Diversity Officers at US Colleges Hold Anti-Israel Views, Study Says
by Adam Kredo
December 10, 2021

An overwhelming number of diversity, equity, and inclusion officers at American universities, who are ostensibly hired to create a welcoming space on campus, use social media to bash Israel and Jews, according to a study. Researchers reviewed the Twitter feeds of 741 diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) officials at 65 different U.S. universities to determine their attitudes on Israel and, for purposes of comparison, China. They found that DEI staff “tweeted, retweeted, or liked almost three times as many tweets about Israel as tweets about China.” Of the tweets in question, 96 percent were critical of Israel, and 62 percent of the China-centered tweets were favorable. Palestinian Authority: “Every time an Israeli Jewish citizen visits a Jewish holy site it is considered an act of war”

JEWISH PRESS
The Language of War
by Alex Nachumson
December 8, 2021

Recently in Israel, there was a minor debate about Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s choice of visiting the Cave of the Patriarchs to light the first light of Hanukkah. For the Palestinians, this was nothing less than an “act of war.” According to Palestinian Media Watch, the Palestinian Authority declared that the president “broke into the Ibrahimi Mosque and defiled it,” an act tantamount to a “declaration of war.” Most Israelis who even heard about the PA’s incitement, probably met it with a shrug or amusement. However, the terminology the Palestinians use should be considered more carefully because it is the language of war. It is not only used to incite and recruit the next terrorist, it is preparing Palestinians for a long drawn out war where Israel is the instigator. READ MORE

“This incident is one of many in which the BBC has victim-blamed Jewish people for antisemitism”

Hundreds rally against anti-Jewish coverage by BBC following bus incident
December 13, 2021

As many as 250 Britons stood outside of the headquarters of the publicly funded British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London on Monday night to demand that it take accountability for anti-Jewish coverage on the network. There, they chanted “BBC, where the proof? BBC, tell the truth” in response to an on-air report during Hanukkah about an attack on a bus full of Jewish teens in Central London. In its coverage of the event, according to Campaign Against Antisemitism, the BCC reported that racial slurs against Muslims were made by young riders. READ MORE

CTech spoke to former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S Michael Oren about his ambitious manifesto, Israel 2048

What is the role of Startup Nation in Israel’s next 100 years?
by James Spiro
November 10, 2021

Israel is approaching its first centennial and has myriad accomplishments of which it can be proud. Whether that’s defending its borders, growing its population, or the record-breaking high-tech scene which is attracting eyes around the world. As the world approaches 2048 and Israel’s 100th birthday, many are looking ahead at what the official State of the Jewish people can achieve in the future. “Israelis don’t talk about the future, we only talk about what’s going on today or tomorrow. And there are issues that if we don’t begin to discuss now, we cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be assured that we will have a second successful century,” explained Michael Oren, former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S and author of the 53-page manifesto ‘Israel 2048’. “What is most immediately captivating about Sondheim is the cleverness; he was likely the cleverest songwriter who has ever lived”

COMMENTARY
Stephen Sondheim’s America
by John Podhoretz
January 2022

…Sondheim entered Broadway as a preternatural force, with three classic shows—Gypsy and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum would follow West Side Story over the next five years—under his belt by his 32nd birthday. But that astounding level of achievement did not give him the cultural standing afforded the painters and novelists of his day. The commercial theater was thought, by those who dominated the pages of this magazine and other critical apexes of American culture, to be the province of mostly intolerable middlebrows. Sure, a good show could be entertaining, but any good show was pretty much only that—a work of mere entertainment, not a meaningful exploration of the enduring themes of genuine high art. READ MORE

Blacks speak out on Critical Race Theory, “Woke Supremacists” and why reparations are illogical

Black Minnesota mom DISMANTLES left-wing media’s denial of CRT in schools

FROM SIMON & SCHUSTER Jason Hill: What Do White Americans Owe Black People: Racial Justice in the Age of Post-Oppression Central to his thesis, Hill calls on black American leaders (and their white liberal sponsors) to escape from the cycle of blame and finger-pointing, which seeks to identify black failures with white hatred and indifference. This overblown narrative is promulgated by a phalanx of black nihilists who advocate the destruction of America and her institutions in the name of ending “whiteness.” Much of the black intelligentsia consists of these false prophets, and it is their poisonous ideology which is taught, un-contradicted, to students of all races. It is they who are responsible for the cultural depression blacks are suffering in today’s society.

Hamas and PIJ say they are working to ignite a new intifada against Israel, especially in Jerusalem and the West Bank

JERUSALEM POST
Incitement behind rise in Palestinian terror attacks
by Khaled Abu Toameh
December 6, 2021

It’s hard to point to a specific reason for the latest wave of terrorist attacks in Jerusalem and the West Bank. What is certain, however, is that the attacks are the result of the ongoing and increasing incitement against Israel by Palestinian officials, factions and media outlets. The attacks are also the result of calls by Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and other Gaza-based groups for stepping up the “resistance” against Israel. Hamas and PIJ say they are working to ignite a new intifada (uprising) against Israel, especially in Jerusalem and the West Bank. READ MORE

CAIR Official Zahra Billoo: The Two-State Solution Is ‘Laughable’; Any Organization That Promotes It Is An Enemy; ADL, Jewish Federation, ‘Zionist Synagogues,’ Hillel Chapters Will Throw You Under The Bus
December 2, 2021

American activist Zahra Billoo, the executive-director of CAIR-SFBA said in a panel at the AMP Annual Conference that took place on November 27, 2021 that the two-state solution is “laughable” and any organization that supports it is an enemy. She told the audience that the Anti-Defamation League, Jewish Federation, “Zionist Synagogues,” and Hillel chapters on “our campuses” are not their friends. Billoo said that they will throw the Muslims under the bus. She further urged the audience to donate monthly to AMP, because if they pay U.S. taxes, this means that they financially support “apartheid” every month. READ MORE

Memo to Biden: “If the free world wants to stand on the right side of history, they should support the Iranian people who have been fighting for their freedom for the last 43 years”

GATESTONE
Like Obama, Biden Silent on Iran Mullahs Killing Peaceful Protesters
by Majid Rafizadeh
December 4, 2021

The Biden administration appears to be repeating the Obama Administration policy of choosing to be silent in the face of the Iranian regime’s bloodshed, human rights violations, and crackdowns that kill and wound peaceful protesters.Recently, huge numbers of people in the province of Isfahan rose up against the Islamic Republic. Tens of thousands of farmers and other demonstrators poured into the streets and criticized government officials over a severe water shortage. Many were heard chanting, “The people of Isfahan will rather die than give in to disgrace”. READ MORE

Nothing short of a credible military threat — and certainly not negotiations with a US leadership anxious to revive a failed accord — will deter the ayatollahs’ nuclear drive now

TIMES OF ISRAEL
Iran — the gamble, the original sin, and the unthinkable current consequence
by David Horovitz
December 2, 2021

Having failed in his high-profile efforts to dissuade the Obama administration from sealing the radically inadequate 2015 deal with Iran, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s subsequent strategy for thwarting the ayatollahs’ nuclear weapons drive relied on a series of calculated judgments or, perhaps more accurately, gambles. First, Netanyahu encouraged the Trump administration’s withdrawal from the accord, and its imposition of “maximum pressure” sanctions, in the belief or hope that a combination of economic pressure, consequent domestic unrest, and the threat of US-led military action might compel the regime to set aside its bid for the bomb. Second, he relied on the Trump administration being prepared to take military actionREAD MORE

FDD Iran’s Nuclear Negotiators Make the U.S. Sit at the Kiddie Table Arms-control talks between Iran and the great powers resume Monday with a notable absence. At Tehran’s insistence, the U.S. delegation won’t have a seat at the table—its members must wait in an antechamber to be briefed by the Europeans. The mullahs have always relished humiliating Americans, particularly those eager to prove their benevolent intentions.
