JERUSALEM POST
Genetic Research: Almost 25% of Latinos, Hispanics have Jewish DNA
by Ashley Perry
March 1, 2019

A few weeks ago, something extraordinary happened that could forever affect the future of the Jewish People and the State of Israel.  There has long been speculation of significant Jewish ancestry among the populations of Latin and North America and Europe…Now, unprecedented genetic research undertaken by dozens of professors from around the world has provided evidence that almost a quarter of Latinos and Hispanics have significant Jewish DNA. The study, published in Nature Communications in December 2018, revealed that the number of descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jewish communities is far higher than even the largest estimates previously suggested. “How Virginia Dems are mainstreaming the worst kinds of Jew-Hate”

FRONT PAGE MAG
Virginia Democrats Elect Their First Islamist Anti-Semite
by Daniel Greenfield
March 1, 2019

While Virginia Democrats were debating whether to oust Governor Northam for wearing blackface, Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax over alleged rape and Attorney General Mark Herring for also wearing blackface, a much more blatant example of contemporary bigotry by a Virginia Democrat had come to light. It received virtually no coverage by the media. Ibraheem Samirah, running in a special election for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates, had his social media history exposed. Aside from the usual rants about Israel, Samirah had posted that the Jews had stolen his grandfather’s land…Samirah’s hatred for Israel wasn’t news. READ MORE

Clear Majority of Americans Continue to Hold Favorable View of Israel, New Gallup Poll Shows
by Ben Cohen
March 6, 2019

A comfortable majority of Americans continue to sympathize with Israel over the Palestinians in 2019, according to the annual World Affairs survey published on Wednesday by top polling firm Gallup. “Americans’ overall views toward Israel and the Palestinian Authority have changed little in the past year, with roughly seven in 10 viewing Israel very or mostly favorably and two in 10 viewing the Palestinian Authority in the same terms,” a Gallup analysis of the poll stated. The latest poll “finds a slight softening of Americans’ partiality toward Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly among moderate/liberal Republicans and, to a lesser extent, liberal Democrats,” the analysis said. “Naftali Bennett is using Trump’s plan to bolster his right-wing flank”

JERUSALEM POST
Trump’s ‘deal of the century’ has become an election issue
by Lahov Harkov
March 1, 2019

…This week, US President Donald Trump’s “deal of the century” finally became an election issue, after New Right leader Naftali Bennett brought it up – repeatedly – and Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, added fuel to the fire. First, Bennett said at the entrance to Sunday’s cabinet meeting: “[Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and Trump are coordinating the presentation of a plan to establish a Palestinian state the day after the election.” He added that the only way to prevent that from happening is for there to be a big New Right in Netanyahu’s government, as opposed to the Blue and White Party.  READ MORE

SPECTATOR
The Anti-Semitism of AOC, Omar, and Tlaib
by David Catron
March 4, 2019

That fractious coven of freshman Democrats so beloved of the media — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib — have been patiently indulged by the leadership of their party. The obvious reason for putting up with the antics of these three involves the hope that they will help get out the millennial vote in 2020. But this trio of weird sisters is now stirring up such a bilious brew of dissension in their caucus and bad PR that prominent Democrats are starting to complain, particularly about the anti-Semitism of Omar and Tlaib.  READ MORE

UN Human Rights Council Derided as ‘Dangerous Joke’ After Issuing Anti-Israel Report on Gaza Border Violence
by Staff
February 28, 2019

“No nation in the world, including Israel, can or should stand by and allow an armed invasion of its territory,” [Arthur] Stark and [Malcolm] Hoenlein added. “Every nation, including Israel, would and must act to defend its sovereign borders and its population against armed aggression, but not every nation would adhere to rules of engagement and processes of command and control to ensure that norms of international humanitarian law are followed, as Israel does. Today’s report brings shame on the Human Rights Council. In denying Israel’s right to defend its citizens, the UN Human Rights Council becomes a partner in Hamas’s terror.” READ MORE

BLOOMBERG UN Human Rights Council Bashes Israel Over Gaza Protests The United Nations Human Rights Council said it found reason to believe Israel may have committed war crimes in its crackdown on protests on the Gaza Strip border. Israel rejected the allegation as another example of the council’s bias against it. The commission said 189 Palestinians were killed in connection with the campaign of demonstrations against Israel that began 11 months ago.

Ilhan Omar: Let’s Talk About The Influence In This Country That Says Allegiance To A Foreign Country Is Okay
by Allah Pundit
February 28, 2019

It is next-level demagoguery to suggest that accusations of anti-semitism by your critics are a matter of anti-Muslim bias and then, in almost the same breath, wheeze in an obvious allusion to Israel that “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay to push for allegiance to a foreign country.” Which influence is she thinking of? A shadowy, rootless, cosmopolitan influence, I’m guessing…Philip Klein knows a dual-loyalty smear aimed at Jews — sorry, at AIPAC — when he hears it. So does liberal Jonathan Chait…READ MORE

DAILY WIRE Ben Shapiro: Stop Treating Ilhan Omar Like A Child. Her Anti-Semitism Isn’t ‘Sad.’ It’s Consistent, Vicious, And Vile. On Thursday, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was caught on tape once again indulging in her favorite off-hours pastime – some cozy anti-Semitism with cheering fans. Omar, of course, has a long history of anti-Semitism: accusing Israel of “hypnotizing the world,” suggesting that American support for Israel is “all about the Benjamins,” backing the anti-Semitic BDS movement.

Mandelblit’s “ascension to the post of attorney-general will have been paved by the man [Netanyahu] who he is probably about to topple”

JERUSALEM POST
Mandelblit: From PM’s man to overthrowing Netanyahu – the timeline
by Yonah Jeremy Bob
March 1, 2018

Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started to have close working relations when Mandelblit fought the Goldstone Report during his tenure as IDF Military Advocate General from 2004-2011. Netanyahu was so impressed with Mandelblit as an operator that he lured him into becoming his cabinet secretary from 2013-2016 and away from Mandelblit’s likely appointment as simply a district court judge. Mandelblit was so successful as cabinet secretary that Netanyahu backed him, along with Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, to become attorney-general in 2016. So Netanyahu literally put his accuser in office. READ MORE
