Amnesty International lied yesterday, Tuesday, when it accused Israel of violating international law for bombing the Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights building in Gaza, said Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst. Yingst, reporting from Gaza, said the building was hit by a rocket that misfired from Gaza, and that he witnessed the event. “Israel did not strike this building. A rocket misfired from Gaza.I was across the street when it happened,” wrote Yingst on Twitter…Amnesty International is frequently accused of having an anti-Israel bias and whitewashing the war crimes of Palestinian Arabs. FREE BEACON Terrorists Strike Their Own Building, Israel Blamed Prominent international organizations on Tuesday blamed Israel for a Palestinian rocket that hit the offices of the Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) in the Gaza Strip. Along with the ICHR, left-wing human rights organization Amnesty International and left-wing activist group Code Pink blamed Israel for the rocket that later reports revealed was fired by terrorists aiming at Israel.

The European Court of Justice affirmed on Tuesday new laws mandating that Jewish-made products originating in disputed territories be labeled as coming from “settlements” and “Israeli colonies.” Observers viewed the decision as a major win for the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. US DEPARTMENT OF STATE PRESS STATEMENT Decision by EU Court of Justice on Psagot Case The United States is deeply concerned by the EU requirement identified in the decision issued yesterday by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the Psagot Case.  The circumstances surrounding the labeling requirement in the specific facts presented to the Court are suggestive of anti-Israel bias.  This requirement serves only to encourage, facilitate, and promote boycotts, divestments, and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.  The United States unequivocally opposes any effort to engage in BDS, or to otherwise economically pressure, isolate, or otherwise delegitimize Israel.  The path toward resolving the Israel-Palestinian conflict is through direct negotiations.  America stands with Israel against efforts to economically pressure, isolate, or delegitimize it.

The real secret is that there probably isn’t a good way to do it if you’re closer to Gaza because you just don’t have time to safely pull over and leap out of the car. Back in 2009, when there was no Iron Dome and you just had to find shelter, we were taught that if you can’t get to a shelter you should shelter behind a wall or building between you and Gaza so that the trajectory of the rocket is less likely to hit you. Just minutes after the Air Force bombed the home of Islamic Jihad’s Baha Abu al-Ata in Gaza, killing him and his wife, another explosion took place in Damascus at the home of the deputy head of Islamic Jihad, whose headquarters are located in the Syrian city.  Israel did not take credit for the Damascus bombing, and it was unclear whether Akram al-Ajouri was killed or wounded in the strike.

Boston University has been considering hiring an anti-Israel postdoctoral associate as a professor, reported Americans for Peace and Tolerance. While the school has yet to hire Sarah Ihmoud, the offer is “imminent,” according to APT. Ihmoud presented her paper, “Sexual Violence, Women’s Bodies, and Israeli Settler Colonialism,” to the university.
