….Cohen intimated that his agency blew up Iran’s underground centrifuge facility at Natanz, gave a precise description of the 2018 operation in which the Mossad stole Iran’s nuclear archive from safes in a Tehran warehouse, confirmed that Iran’s assassinated top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh had been in Mossad’s sights for years, and said the regime needs to understand that Israel means what it says when it vows to prevent Iran attaining nuclear weapons. UCLA Confirms BLM Co-founder Who Called to End “Project That’s Called Israel” Will Be Commencement Speaker
by Aaron Bandler
June 10, 2021

The UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs confirmed to the Journal that Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors will be giving a pre-recorded speech as the keynote speaker to the school’s June 11 graduation ceremony.  Cullors, who recently resigned from the Black Lives Matter Global Foundation, said during a 2015 panel, “Palestine is our generation’s South Africa. If we don’t step up boldly and courageously to end the imperialist project that’s called Israel, we’re doomed.” She also encouraged people to look into the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and to show support for Rasmea Odeh, who was convicted of two 1969 bombings in Jerusalem…READ MORE

“Established in 1929 in the city’s central business district, the Chicago Loop Synagogue has primarily served office workers for much of its history”

THE ARCHITECTS NEWSPAPER
With commuter congregation waning, the Chicago Loop Synagogue faces an uncertain future
by Aaron Smithson
June 8, 2021

…According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the Chicago Loop Synagogue’s membership has shrunk markedly in the last thirty years, a trend that began long before the onset of COVID-19 shutdowns. Its congregation, now just over 400 strong, has only about 30-to-40 members who live in the vicinity and attend Saturday services. With such small numbers, the relatively affordable dues of $180 or less per year do not generate enough revenue to maintain current operations. Lee Zoldan, the president of the congregation, estimated that the institution’s cash assets can only keep it afloat for another 18 months. READ MORE

“The incidents in Iran lead to questions about whether Israel has overseen a wide-ranging campaign of attacks and sabotage against Iran”

NEWSWEEK
Is Iran Suffering From ‘Simple Sabotage?’
by Seth J. Frantzman
June 8, 2021

Iran has suffered a series of mysterious explosions and fires over the past year. While some of them have targeted sensitive sites, such as the Natanz nuclear facility, many other incidents appear more accidental. Nevertheless, they have done significant damage to Iranian infrastructure. In early June, the Iranian navy’s largest ship sunk after a fire on board. An oil refinery had a tank that ruptured and exploded in Tehran, and a steel factory also reportedly suffered a fire on June 5. Many of the explosions and fires have been reported with heightened interest due to Israel-Iran tensions. READ MORE

REUTERS ‘Intense’ Iran nuclear talks resume as Germany calls for rapid progress Indirect talks between Tehran and Washington on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal resumed in Vienna on Saturday as the European Union said negotiations were “intense” and Germany called for rapid progress. Scientific American article writers “are mostly young, Palestinian BDS activists who are clearly far more passionately involved in anti-Israel incitement than in promoting good healthcare and medicine”

Scientific American Breaks 176-Year Legacy to Shill for Terrorists and Promote BDS
by Ricki Hollander
June 4, 2021

…On June 2, 2021, the newspaper published an “analysis article” that is being circulated as a petition by anti-Israel BDS activists on social media. Although the popular science magazine presented it as “an opinion and analysis article,” it is actually a pastiche of clichéd, anti-Israel libels and pro-terrorist propaganda devoid of truth that urges adherence to the antisemitic BDS campaign. The brazenness of its demands is shocking! The authors introduce themselves as “health care workers and faculty from around the world who stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom and liberation.” READ MORE

Projection 101: America and Israel are being accused of imperialism and colonialism by medieval Islamic imperialists and colonialists

FRONT PAGE MAG
Why Pro-Israel Hasbara Fails
by Daniel Greenfield
June 10, 2021

…The typical campaign shows that Israel is diverse, a country with a tech industry and beaches, gay pride parades and soldiers in bikinis, minority doctors and coffee shops. And when it fails, as it always does, no one behind it seems to understand why. The ‘why’ is almost too obvious. American progressives already live in a diverse country with a tech industry, beaches, gay pride parades, and coffee shops. And they support the Islamic terrorists who are trying to destroy it. Why should they be expected to hate Israel any less than they hate America? READ MORE

“The easiest way to figure out which side is telling the truth would be to read the coalition agreements signed by the parties set to join the Lapid-Bennett government”

ISRAEL HAYOM ( by agreement with JNS)
What sort of government are Lapid and Bennett forming?
by Caroline Glick
June 6, 2021

The storm of controversy now engulfing Israel revolves around one question. What sort of government do Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett intend to swear in? According to Lapid, Bennett and their media chorus, Israel is about to get a “unity government.” Once it is formed, all will be sweetness and light. The political fights that have afflicted us will fade away as the nation undergoes a collective therapy session. The other side – the political Right – insists that the two men are forming a leftist government that is willing to sacrifice Zionism to achieve their highest goal: ousting Benjamin Netanyahu from the Prime Minister’s Office. JNS Morton Klein: Coalition deal with anti-Zionist Ra’am Islamist Party is extremely dangerous The Israeli prime minister’s ability to deal with terrorism, another Hamas or Hezbollah war, building in Judea and Samaria, and other critical issues will be sharply curtailed because Ra’am can threaten to bring down the government.

Understanding Israel’s Destruction of Hamas’ “Metro” and Who won?

JERUSALEM POST
Israel or Hamas: Who won?
by Daniel Pipes
June 7, 2021

Who won the recent round of fighting between Hamas and Israel? The war of words that followed the air battles finds pro-Israel voices deeply divided and anti-Israel ones claiming a famous Hamas victory. But it’s too early to tell. On the pro-Israel side, for example, Efraim Inbar and Dan Schueftan argue for Israel’s success based on the pain Hamas experienced. Doron Matza, Seth J. Frantzman, and Hanan Shai argue for its failure based on nonmilitary issues, such as uniting Palestinians against Israel and finding international support. READ MORE

NATIONAL INTEREST Seth Frantzman: How Israel Targeted Hamas Underground (And What It Could Do Next) The importance of demolishing the Metro system was to prevent Hamas from being able to easily move rockets around underground and set up the mass barrages that can be coordinated and linked to centralized command and control.

Israel bans sale of fur to fashion industry, first country to do so; “loophole exempts ultra-Orthodox Jews, who often wear cake-shaped sable hats known as shtreimels”

PETA hails Israel as first country to ban fur, but major exceptions remain
by Staff
June 9, 2021

Animal rights group PETA on Wednesday hailed Israel as “the first country in the world to ban the sale of fur” after Environmental Protection Minister Gila Gamliel signed the move into law. “This historic victory will protect countless foxes, minks, rabbits and other animals from being violently killed for their skin,” the statement said…Despite the accolades, critics say the new law is mostly toothless, as it continues to allow the import of fur for religious reasons, their main use in Israel. PETA honorary director Pamela Anderson was among the first to bare all for PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign. READ MORE

Bal Harbor Mayor: The Honeymoon Period for the Jewish Diaspora is Over

JNS
For American Jews, the honeymoon is over
by Gabriel Groisman
June 4, 2021

Unfortunately, we’ve also allowed this era to soften us as a people. We let our collective guard down. We began intellectualizing away our identity in an ill-fated attempt to fit in. From the comfort of our American-style homes, we spent the last few decades losing our connection to our roots, our Jewish history, our peoplehood, our religion, our land and our identity. Many have simply forgotten who we are. But for what it’s worth, you can always count on the anti-Semites to remind those of us who need to be reminded. While the anti-Semites say this with disdain, I say it with pride: No matter how successful, how connected, how Americanized you think you are, you are always a Jew. READ MORE
