Iranian men and women have been actively and vocally speaking out against their oppressive regime for the last few days. The women, in particular, have provided a sight to behold: Many are removing their hijabs, protesting the Iranian dress code, and literally shouting against Khamenei in the streets. Still, the overwhelming progressive response to these courageous women has been strange, if not telling. By day, Shawn Eni is a mild-mannered Canadian living in Modi’in and working in business software. By night, and also a little bit by day, he runs a Mossad parody account on Twitter that seems to regularly fool a whole lot of people. Eni started the account as a joke, of course, in September 2016. He never really thought anybody would take it seriously – after all, he was poking fun not at the Mossad itself, but at those on Twitter who blamed Israel’s intelligence agency for all sorts of bizarre things. “People who are anti-Israel usually blame the Mossad for whatever,” said Eni in a phone interview on Monday. “Among them stealing shoes, and sharks and vultures.” READ MORE

A unique stamped piece of clay from the First Temple Period, inscribed in ancient Hebrew script, was unearthed in the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) excavations in the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem… According to the excavator, Dr. Shlomit Weksler-Bdolah, “the Bible mentions two governors of Jerusalem, and this finding reveals that such a position was actually held by someone in the city some 2700 years ago.” This extraordinary find is a lump of clay, stamped and pre-fired.
