Did Obama Tip off Iran to Israeli Plan to Take Out World’s Premier Terrorist?
by Ari Lieberman
January 12, 2018

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported that three years ago, Israel was on the verge of liquidating [Iranian general, Qassem] Soleimani near Damascus but the Obama administration tipped off Teheran of Israel’s plans. Soleimani is no ordinary general. He is arguably the world’s premier terrorist and is commander of Iran’s Quds Force, a branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, responsible for its overseas mischief-making. Where there is drugs, misery and conflict, it’s a sure bet that Soleimani and his Quds Force are involved. The elimination of Soleimani would have been a tremendous coup for the West, on par with or perhaps surpassing the assassination of Imad Mughniyah, chief of Hezbollah’s special operations. READ MORE

by Bill McMorris
January 12, 2018

The head of Washington, D.C.’s teachers’ union sent an email condemning “Israeli occupation” and asked her 5,000 members to lodge complaints against the police department for partnering with the Anti-Defamation League to train in Israel. On Dec. 14, Elizabeth Davis circulated an email to thousands of D.C. public school teachers and employees with the subject line “STOP the Deadly Exchange,” a reference to a campaign launched by anti-Israel group Jewish Voice for Peace to link Israel to police violence in the United States. The country that brought you Adolf Hitler charges pro-Israel activists for waiving the Israeli flag

JERUSALEM POST
Vienna police charge 3 men for waving Israeli flag at rally
by Benjamin Weinthal
January 10, 2018

The Vienna police are pursuing criminal charges against three pro-Israel activists for waving an Israeli flag in protest of antisemitic slogans at a demonstration against Jerusalem having been recognized by the US as the capital of the Jewish state. The police are seeking a €100 fine or two days in jail for the activists, who showed support for Israel at the December 8 anti-Israel rally near the US Embassy in Austria’s capital. The criminal notice, dated January 3, states that the activists “showed an Israeli flag at a rally in an extremely provocative way and manner that was visible for participants at the rally and thereby produced considerable offense and provocation among the Palestinian protesters.” READ MORE

Puerto Rican journalist targets “The Jew”

THE FORWARD
Puerto Rico’s Biggest Newspaper: The U.S. Hasn’t Helped Us Because Of ‘The Jew’
by Jeffrey Boxer
January 10, 2018

It has been nearly three months since Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, and the island’s recovery has been slow. The U.S. territory is struggling with shortages of food and medical supplies, and a full 45% of residents still don’t have power. San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz blames Washington for failing to devote adequate resources to Puerto Rico’s recovery — she recently dubbed President Trump the “disaster-in-chief”. But a journalist for El Nuevo Día, the newspaper with the largest circulation in Puerto Rico, has found a different culprit: “the Jew.” READ MORE

Son of Democrat Congressman Mel Levine: “Coming out as Republican worse than coming out gay”

THE FEDERALIST
Coming Out As A Republican To My Democrat Family Went Worse Than Coming Out Gay
by Adam Levine
January 9, 2018

I reached my threshold where no amount of hypothetical Republican bigotry or greed could approach the magnitude of hypocrisy, corruption, or criminality I saw rotting Democrats….When, in my adulthood, the liberal policy agenda became problematic for me, I found myself at a loss. I began to raise questions with my family and friends, and met resistance. It was not because my concerns were particularly inappropriate; I was just not supposed to be questioning at all. One could disagree with nuances, but not the judgment of the (then) president, or the party. Period. The irony of this apparent intolerance for diversity of thought by the party claiming to champion the rights of groups underserved by the status quo was not lost on me. READ MORE

THE BLAZE His liberal family was ‘overjoyed’ when he came out as gay — but not when he came out for Trump: “I have been unfriended en masse on social media and excoriated by friends who deign to remain,” he added. “And I have been singly excluded from social gatherings when the rest of my family was invited”

The funeral of Rabbi Raziel Shevach, the victim of Tuesday night’s shooting attack in Samaria, is currently taking place in Samaria’s Havat Gilad. Rabbi Shevach, 35, left behind his wife Yael and six orphans: Renana, 10; Naomi, 8; Miriam, 6; Malka, 5; Ovadia, 3; and Benayahu, 10 months. On Wednesday morning, Yael said, “We decided together with the family to bury my beloved husband Raziel, may G-d avenge his blood, in Havat Gilad, where he worked.” “Raziel had asked to be buried in Havat Gilad if anything happened to him. We will honor his request and will bury him in the town he loved so much and did so much for. READ MORE

Netanyahu: “We have, through our intelligence services, provided information that has stopped several dozen major terrorist attacks, many of them in European countries”

Netanyahu: Israel helped stop terror attacks on planes in Europe
by Raf Sanchez
January 9, 2018

Israeli intelligence has helped stop terrorists from using civilian aeroplanes in Europe to carry out major attacks “of the worst kind”, Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday.  The Israeli prime minister told a group of ambassadors from Nato countries that his nation’s intelligence agencies had “helped save many European” lives by passing on warnings of jihadist plots.  He did not give details of the thwarted attacks but said they “involve civil aviation”…Israel has a formidable intelligence apparatus and Mr Netanyahu often uses his country’s intelligence gathering capabilities as a calling card as he tries to improve Israel’s diplomatic standing around the world. READ MORE

Have you heard the one about the Palestinian and Hasidic Jew who dance together at rush hour? [VIDEO]

CAMERA’s Adam Levick on Facebook: No, I’m not saying that Jews and Arabs here typically break out in song, but I will say that this video, showing a hasidic Jew and a Palestinian getting out of their cars during a recent traffic jam in Gush Etzion and dancing, is, in some ways, a more accurate illustration of life in Israel than the caricature presented in the media of racism, religious tension and unending darkness. The United Nations and UNRWA have “created a lineage of displacement, almost genetic, that passes from father to son, and from one generation to the next” [VIDEO]

ISRAEL HAYOM
UNRWA – the great refugee charade
by Nadav Shragai
January 7, 2017

Finally, someone is shaking the foundations beneath one of the biggest charades, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. Thanks to the twisted mandate it got from the U.N. in the 1950s, it has perpetuated the plight of Palestinian refugees from one generation to the next. The mandate prohibits UNRWA from resettling those “refugees” and find them a permanent home, ensuring that they keep entertaining the idea that one day they will get the “right of return.” Now the Trump administration has taken steps to defund the organization, perhaps not for the right reasons, if the Palestinians fail to return to the negotiating table. It has so far put on hold half of the funding it normally gives each year.
