“From Dianne Feinstein to John Kerry to Maxine Waters to Cory ‘Spartacus’ Booker, Democrats are losing their marbles”

NATIONAL REVIEW
Descent into Progressive Madness
by Victor Davis Hanson
September 18, 2018

…In publicizing the letter anonymously at first, Feinstein apparently had lots of aims besides blowing up the Kavanaugh sure-thing nomination. In the new progressive world of Julia Salazars and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezes, Feinstein also wants to strut her ossified progressive fides. That is, she seems desperate to remind California voters that while she may be an 85-year-old white woman, married to a hyper-capitalist billionaire, and a longtime resident of a 20-million-dollar Pacific Heights mansion, she is still a growling hard-left and partisan lioness in winter. CHICAGO TRIBUNE John Kass: Eviscerating Kavanaugh: Sen. Feinstein, have you no sense of decency? Watching the slow, public evisceration of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by Senate Democrats —on the strength of one unsubstantiated charge of alleged sexual aggression 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was in high school — a question comes to mind: Have you no sense of decency, Sen. Feinstein? Decency was once an important feature of the Democratic Party’s story. Long before Bork became a verb, long before Clarence Thomas was dragged through the mud because a conservative black man proved a profound threat to Democrats, the party held fast to the notion of decency.

“By closing the PLO mission, Trump, Bolton, and all the rest of the president’s men have rolled the Palestinian issue 30 years back in time to where it stood in the 1980s”

ISRAEL HAYOM (by agreement with JNS)
Putting the PLO in its place
by Ariel Kahana
September 14, 2018

…[EU foreign policy chief Federica] Mogherini and [U.S. National Security Adviser John] Bolton are an ocean apart, and not only in the geographical sense. A thousand years would be insufficient for the continent in whose name Mogherini speaks to pay its historic debt to the Jewish people. And still, the EU foreign policy chief stands at the head of the anti-Israel front, mixing up politics with law and justice in accordance with traditional European hypocrisy. On the one hand, she allows illegal African migrants to drown at sea or be slaughtered by Libyan militias. On the other, she preaches morality to Israel. And only to Israel. READ MORE

John Kerry told Iran to “wait out this administration,” Mr. Pompeo said. “You can’t find precedent for this in U.S. history”

NEW YORK SUN
‘Beyond Inappropriate’: Secretary of State Pompeo Schools John Kerry
Editorial Board
September 15, 2018

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo certainly hit the John Kerry question out of the park. This occurred at a State Department briefing Friday, when a reporter asked about President Trump’s use of the word “illegal” to describe Mr. Kerry’s meetings with his Iranian counterpart. Mr. Pompeo said he would leave the legal determination to others, and then . . . whammo. “What Secretary Kerry has done,” Mr. Pompeo said, “is unseemly and unprecedented.” He called it “a former secretary of state engaged with the world’s largest state sponsor of terror.” He noted that the reports of the unprecedented meetings had come from Mr. Kerry himself. Shoot first, ask questions later: NYT works mightily to advance anti-Haley agenda

PJ MEDIA
Egg on Their Faces: New York Times Retracts False Nikki Haley Smear
by Tyler O’Neil
September 14, 2018

On Thursday, the New York Times — America’s newspaper of record — published a disgusting false smear against U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley. The original article suggested Haley was responsible for spending $52,701 on curtains for the UN ambassador’s house in New York City, when in reality the decision to purchase the curtains was made under former president Barack Obama. The Times appended a correction at the top of the article, altered the headline, and removed the photo of Nikki Haley. READ MORE

It wasn’t until after Oslo, when “peace” broke out, that the bodies of murdered Israelis began piling up

GATESTONE
The Grim Cost of the “Oslo War”
by Guy Millière
September 14, 2018

Terror attacks against Israelis attacks during this “peace” grew even more bloody and more profuse, and soon were being perpetrated at a frantic pace. Some deliberately targeted children and youths, such as the Dolphinarium discotheque massacre and the Sbarro restaurant suicide bombing. Arafat condemned none of them. In September 2000, the Palestinian Authority launched a full scale guerrilla warthat lasted four years and killed more than 1,000 Israelis. It soon became clear that Arafat was not going to give up being a mass murderer. His successor, Mahmoud Abbas, was no better. Generation Z: “From universal health care to equality for minorities and the LGBTQ community, Israel should be their model nation”

JNS
Generation Z perspective: Why are my peers embracing anti-Semitism and socialism?
by Noah Phillips
September 13, 2018

Despite the hell that would be unleased on gays, women and minorities if Israel were replaced by another Islamic theocracy, Socialists and select prominent Democrats fully embrace the BDS movement’s efforts to cripple and delegitimize Israel. The movement, without question, has a basis in anti-Semitism and makes regular calls to violent action. So for an egalitarian and social justice-oriented movement like socialism to buy into this hate speech is hypocritical and dangerous. It truly runs counter to the ideology of socialism by allowing for the specific targeting of a global religious minority, the Jews. READ MORE

“Barack Obama reminds us why Donald Trump is president”

THE FEDERALIST
Thanks, Obama!
by David Harsanyi
September 10, 2018

“How hard can that be? Saying that Nazis are bad,” former President Barack Obama asked a crowd in Illinois over the weekend. Well, probably no harder than saying the words “radical Islam,” I imagine. Or maybe it’s slightly less difficult than not sending  billions of dollars to Holocaust-denying terror regimes that have both the means and intent to murder Jews—in 2018, not 1942. And it’s definitely a lot easier than not meeting, posing, then smiling for a picture with Louis Farrakhan. But thanks for the lecture. READ MORE

“The great majority of Israelis, so violently awakened from Oslo’s delusions, have reconciled themselves to basic realities”

FRONT PAGE MAG
‪Oslo at Twenty-Five: The History of a Delusion‬
by Dr Kenneth Levin
September 10, 2018

In the wake of Oslo’s launching, Arafat and those around him continued to declare their goal was Israel’s annihilation and used their newly acquired control over Palestinian media, mosques and schools to promote this agenda. Accompanying the stepped-up incitement was an increase in terror, which the Israeli government insisted was the work of Hamas and other Islamist factions, supposedly unconnected to Arafat, but which he repeatedly praised and – as the Israelis knew – was deeply involved in propagating. MIDDLE EAST FORUM Palestinians, You Don’t Have to Live Like a Refugee The so-called right of return for Palestinian refugees, which UNRWA promulgates through its educational and policy organs, bolsters a sense of disenfranchisement among Palestinians throughout the world. UNRWA’s definition of “refugees” to include millions who never set foot in British Mandate-era Palestine runs counter to international law and practice.

Rutgers professor wins award for book that argues Israel purposely maims Palestinians to control them
by Staff
September 10, 2018

A Rutgers University professor who claimed Israel harvests Palestinian organs co-won the National Women’s Studies Association 2018 Alison Piepmeier Book Prize for her book “The Right to Maim.” Jasbir Puar, a professor of women’s and gender studies at Rutgers, hasn’t been shy in the past about attacking Israel, arguing in a talk that Israeli defense forces use “shoot to cripple practices” that involve shooting at the vital organs of protesters. Her latest book won accolades for its discussion of “debility,” or “bodily injury and social exclusion brought on by economic and political factors.” READ MORE
