Democrats Should Curb Their Enthusiasm for Mail-in Voting

There’s a giant scheme afoot to disenfranchise voters in November—it’s called mail-in balloting. Mail-in voting has, like many things in our politics, taken on the aspect of tribal warfare—if President Donald Trump is vociferously against it, Democrats must be vociferously for it, and vice versa. Absentee voting isn’t as secure as in-person voting, but there’s no evidence of widespread fraud, as Trump repeatedly alleges, sometimes in ALL CAPS. Nor is there any evidence that, at least prior to this campaign, mail-in voting has favored Democrats, as the president also believes. READ MORE
