The famed Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency distorted its coverage over the weekend in an attempt to portray Israeli soldiers as deliberately attacking a West Bank Palestinian, a media watchdog group told The Algemeiner on Wednesday. AFP ran the contested story on June 14 under the headline “Israel Army Kills West Bank Palestinian.” The article began saying that Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian man “in the occupied West Bank” by hitting him with their jeep. 1. I read your article on David Horowitz, and I thank you for informing me of who he is. It was also very enlightening to get a picture of you in my mind. I am in my 60s, I came from a very progressive house hold, and like you have become very right wing as I got older. From reading and following the news, I do not see any other option. My family and I no longer discuss politics, we all just get angry. Many of my liberal friends have essentially stopped answering my objections to their inane views. I do not see how anyone can watch these Iran talks and not see the humor in having John Kerry negotiating. I follow Charles Krautheimer’s rational thought, and to me there is only one rational direction. I occasionally express my views on liberal blogs, and the abuse I receive is enjoyable, keeps my discussion skills sharp. Thank you for your clear and concise thoughts on so many of my concerns.
