How Elite Media Narratives Fuel Modern Antisemitism

When elite institutions repeatedly describe Israel using terms like “genocide,” “apartheid,” “ethnic cleansing,” “starvation campaign” and “war crimes,” they are not merely describing military events. They are constructing a moral framework in which Israel is no longer viewed as a flawed democracy fighting a terrorist organization, but as a uniquely evil state operating outside civilized norms. And history shows that when Jews are portrayed as uniquely evil, hatred escalates quickly. For centuries, antisemitism relied on monstrous accusations: Jews poisoning wells, murdering Christian children, spreading disease, controlling governments or engaging in ritual brutality. These lies became known as blood libels. Modern critics argue the language has changed, but the psychological structure often remains disturbingly similar.
