Addressing Jewish Republicans on Saturday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said the West Bank was “not occupied territory” but rather a disputed area that is a historical homeland to Jews, as he talked up his Israel bona fides amid mounting challenges to Donald Trump’s control of the party. JNS The RJC leadership meetings grabbed headlines, and gave its members much to chew on Republican contenders made their case to the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas, as the organization draws lessons from the midterms. A Fox News poll showed Republicans grabbed 33% of the Jewish vote in the midterms, and the RJC claimed 45% of Floridian Jews voted for the GOP.
