At the meeting, the AIPAC officials reportedly expressed their discontent with Netanyahu’s moves and said that they were undermining the values shared by U.S. Jewry and the State of Israel, adding that the decisions were a blow to the morale of those who consistently helped Israel…U.S. Jewish community leaders said this week that they were so offended by the decisions that they might reconsider their relations with the current Israeli government, and some said they would consider halting donations to Israel…U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman…said that as a member of the U.S. Jewish community, he was stunned to hear anyone announce that the crisis had caused him or her to reconsider their support for Israel.
