ADL poll: 18% of Americans are ‘uncomfortable spending time with a pro-Israel person’

US Anti-Semitism: Numbers expressing prejudice doubled since 2019

A new survey released on Thursday by ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) found widespread belief in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and tropes, with twenty percent of respondents admitting to holding such views, nearly double the number in a previous survey conducted by ADL in 2019. A significant number of those surveyed also expressed anti-Israel sentiments…Among the findings: 39 percent of respondents believe that Jews are more loyal to Israel than to the United States; 20 percent say Jews have “too much power” in the United States; 21 percent agree that Jews “don’t care about anyone other than themselves”; and 53 percent say that Jews will go out of their way to hire other Jews. These findings reveal substantial belief in anti-Jewish tropes – such as those promoting the idea that Jews are too powerful, selfish, foreign, and clannish. READ MORE
